Rochelle Wright is a professor of Scandinavian literature, comparative literature, cinema studies, and women’s studies at the University of Illinois, at Urbana-Champaign. Her books include Danish Emigrant Ballads and Songs and translations of two novels by Ivar Lo-Johansson, Breaking Free and Peddling My Wares.
